Scy Designs is beautifully handmade jewelry by Sharon Yee in Philadelphia. She does very intricate wire wrapping detail on gold fill chain, and the color combinations she uses with the beads and pendants are always spot on. Last night at 2:00 am our clocks skipped one hour ahead to 3:00 am. As I watched the time on my phone flip from 1:59 to 3:00, I realized it was bed time. But more importantly, I realized that this is the beginning of spring. This winter has been a harsh one; bitter cold temperatures and weekly snow storms have taken a toll on all our moods. Nonetheless, we're in the home stretch, only 11 more days until the first day of spring. That means 11 more days until sundresses, flowers, and free Rita's water ice! So in the grand scheme of things to come, losing an hour of sleep doesn't seem so bad, does it?

Chanel Grocery Store Runway Show

Karl Lagerfeld combined my two favorite things for his F/W 2014 show in Paris this week, food and fashion! The cities Grand Palais was transformed into a grocery store with models strolling through the isles. I love all of the details down to the signature Chanel chain on the grocery basket. Don't be surprised if you see me walking through Whole Foods doing my cat walk.
