Style Inspiration: Penny Lane

 Almost Famous was on the other night and obviously I watched it for the 37th time. Penny Lane seemed so ridiculously cool to me when I first saw the film, and I almost forgot how obsessed I used to be with her style. We just got a bunch of great vintage items in at the Northern Liberties store and its all so deliciously Penny Lane that we had to do a blog post on it!

Stop in to the vintage section of NoLibs to pick up some of these great finds. And if you ever get lonely, just go to the record store and visit your friends.

Ice cream Sundae Masquerade Mermaid (2012)

Her hair is an ice cream sundae, she's going to a masquerade ball, she's a mermaid...
While drawing little swoops and wisps of waves, my "ice cream" turned into what looks more like "Rice cream"... so I suppose this mermaid is vegan. Makes sense, ya?

Winter Weekend Fun

So, escape reality for few hours at the Snow Bar at Chaddsford Winery--opening for another winter season on Saturday, January 5!The favorite winter spot makes for the perfect grown-up snow day. The Snow Bar is the area’s only bar of its type, open on Saturdays and Sundays from January 5th-March 31st from 1-6 p.m

Although the name Snow Bar makes it sound like a freezing cold venue, the bar is kept toasty warm with two fire pits and is enclosed in a heated tent.

For guests who are itching for some winter fun, the folks at the Snow Bar encourage guests to play in the snow!

A variety of wines are available to guests--enjoy a glass of Chaddsford Winery’s delicious wine, a mug of mulled wine or wine cocktails.

I watched a lot of How I Met Your Mother episodes while trying to mend my hangover on New Years Day. Ted Mosby's style caught my eye with the graphic tees and army jacket.
