Let's Play Pretend!

When I wake up and see that the high of the day will be 28 degrees, I go into some pretty serious denial and convince myself it's actually a beautiful, 75 and sunny spring day. I throw on some transitional/wearable every season staples (here's looking at you, maxi skirt), and only listen to music that makes me forget I'm freezing my tuckus off and takes me back to driving to the beach in LA.

Here's today's denial outfit of choice; Stewart & Brown Maxi Skirt and Nana Pat Project Brass Double V Necklace, both from Arcadia. Sweater, band tee, and boots are all vintage.

Standup Comic to Lookout for - John Mulaney!

My brother is always on the cutting edge of stand up comedy. About 6 years about we saw Louie CK doing standup in the small room of Higher Ground in Burlington VT. Now he is the creator, star, producer, writer, director of the FX comedy series Louie.  I recently went home to Massachusetts for a quick visit and my brother introduced me to John Mulany New in Town.  He is a former writer for Saturday Night Live, and is hilarious! I am completely obsessed with his comedy.

We go together like Panorama-lama-kadinkadinkadonk

I became a part of the iPhone lifestyle last summer, but I'm not ashamed to say it took me until today to realize how to make panoramas. I took one upstairs in Rittenhouse, and it still couldn't fit all the crazy markdowns we have in here-- today through Sunday only!

This new found panorama ability also got me stuck singing Grease songs so I think we should all take a second to appreciate Sandy's awesome style!
